Tree Maintenance in Ward 36
The City of Toronto Urban Forestry Branch has developed a more pro-active approach to tree maintenance throughout the city. Historically, requests for service were generated by residents for tree maintenance. In an attempt to work in a moe efficient manner, the city has now instituted an Area Maintenance program by Ward. This service focuses on removal of deadwood and split or damaged limbs, clearing sight lines that impede pedestrian and/or vehicular trafic.
This program commenced in Ward 36 in March. Forestry Operations will be working in the sub-grids bordered by St. Clair Avenue East, Midland Avenue, Kennedy Road and Kingston Road; and St. Clair Avenue East, Brimley Road, Midland Avenue to just below Kingston Road.
