Office of the Lobbyist Registrar

The Office of the Lobbyist Registrar has made its website easier to use and more informative. Major improvements include:
- content that is clearer and easier to understand
- enhanced website navigation
- helpful tips for searching the Registry and registering as a lobbyist
- a frequently-asked-questions section for visitors

Anyone lobbying the City must register on the Registry’s public website at http://www.toronto.c...a/lobbying.

Since the site went live in February 2008, more than 900 lobbyists have registered over 1,300 subject matters. Lobbyists must register themselves and their subject matter before lobbying. Registrations are available online to the public through the website search tool.

The Office of the Lobbyist Registrar of the City of Toronto is the first municipal Lobbyist Registry in Canada. It promotes and enhances the transparency and integrity of City government decision making through public disclosure of lobbying activities and regulation of lobbyists' conduct.
